Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Has not the One God made and sustained for us the spirit of life?(Malachi 2:15)
You may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after Me. I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. (Isaiah 43:10-11)
I am the first and I am the last; besides Me there is no god. Who is like Me? (Isaiah 44:6)
And there is no other god besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides Me. Turn to Me and be saved….To Me every knee shall bow. (Isaiah 45:21-23)
God is not a man that he should lie nor is he the son of God that he should repent (Numbers 23:19)
One came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he (Jesus) said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God (Matthew 19:16-17)
Now this is life eternal, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)
Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only (Matthew 4:10)
Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord. (Mark 12:29)
For there is one God and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1Timothy 2:5)
Muslims believe Jesus was one of the best Prophets and Messengers. We don't only believe this because the Quran and Sunnah say so, but this is what we as Muslims believe is the true message of the Bible.
We believe that Jesus was a beloved prophet and messenger sent from God, the bible itself mentions:
"For there is one God and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1Timothy 2:5)
"Fellow Israelites, listen to this: 'Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know." (Acts 2:22)
"By myself I can do nothing, I judge only as I hear and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me." (John 5:30)
"Now this is life eternal, that they know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3)
"What things?" he asked. "About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people." (Luke 24:19)
"But when they tried to arrest him, they feared the multitudes, since they held him to be a prophet." (Matthew 21:46)
"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind…" (Numbers 23:19)
Muslims pray the way they do based upon the way the Angel Gabriel taught Allah's Prophets and Messengers.
We as Muslims imitate not only the Prophet Muhammad in the way he prayed, but also Jesus and the other Prophets as well. It says in the bible:
"And after he had dismissed the crowds, he (Jesus) went up on the mountain by himself to pray." (Matthew 14:23)
"Then Jesus fell on his face and prayed. 'My father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will but as thou will." (Matthew 26:39)
You should consider accepting Islam so that you fulfill your purpose in life which is to worship the creator who created all living things.
After consciously choosing to do so, your life will gain meaning, your soul and heart will gain tranquility, your mind will gain peace.
Join the universal family of Muslims of 2 billion people of all different races, nationalities, ethnicities, languages, and cultures. Don't wait until tomorrow.
