About Sheikh Faruq
Sheikh Dr. Faruq Post is an American Muslim Scholar who accepted Islam in the year 2002 and spent over fifteen years of his life studying Islam in Ummul Qura University in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. His pursuit of Islamic Knowledge included years of attending religious circles led by Great Scholars of Islam in the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
After completing his undergraduate Islamic studies, obtaining a masters degree focusing on Prophetic Traditions (Hadeeth), and achieving fluency in Arabic Language, Sheikh Faruq finished his PhD in Islamic Studies specializing in Hadith Literature and their related sciences.
In the year 2015, Sheikh Faruq relocated back to his hometown of Manchester, Connecticut where he was born and raised, in order to focus his efforts in the service of Islamic Ministries and Community Development.
Presently, Sheikh Faruq is involved with local mosques all across the USA, and serves as the Founder/President of iMacD in order to help communities in need of spiritual healing, educational services, developmental services, and social services.
Sheikh Faruq seeks to establish strong relationships with Muslim and non-Muslim organizations who are dedicated to the service of Humanity.

Has been active in da'wah for many years and did prison ministry in the Georgia and North Carolina prison systems. Now residing in Cleveland Ohio. Specializes in gang and urban Re-entry.. He is currently the Prison Outreach Director of iMacD Cleveland Branch

Carlos Pena was born in the Dominican Republic, and learned about Islam through his coworkers. He was amazed by their character and their good manners, so he became interested in learning about their good behavior to the point of taking his Shahada because of the similarity that he had with them that reminds me a ayah from the Quran.
